As I am very new to the field of education and am less than a year into substitute teaching for Kings County here in central California. My aspirations include finishing up my preliminary teaching credential through the state of California to become a single-subject credentialed teacher. Although I only graduated this past May with my bachelor's degree, I have already been exposed to working in the classroom for a couple of years now. I completed the CalTeach program and student-taught at several schools throughout the Bay Area. At times I took over the classroom and taught lessons designed by me in different STEM courses. My leadership experiences include working with all children grades K-12, public speaking, and management.
As a substitute teacher, I've learned how to manage classroom behavior and communicate effectively with the students and each other. Since I am always working with a different group of students, I am capable of communicating effectively with different kinds of people to help me become a better educator. Although I still do not have much professional experience in leadership opportunities, I am more than eager to further my career. It is evident by my enrollment in a graduate program designed for those pursuing a career that calls for someone who can fulfill a leadership role.

You did the best you could based on your limited experience, so nice job. It was candid, well written and positive. Given your limited educational experience at this point, you may want to pull from your full job history to demonstrate related skills and dispositions that add to your credibility
